GETTING TO ANGUILLA

Bliss is Waiting for You.

You can get to Anguilla by air or by sea. Our concierge can provide recommendations on flights and arrange air and boat transfers.

By Air

As the first leg of your trip, fly into one of the area’s international gateways. These include St. Maarten/Martin (SXM), Puerto Rico, St. Kitts or Antigua.  Many airlines offer direct flights from the US, Canada and Europe.  Use the gateway airport as your destination, not Anguilla (AXA).

From your choice of the international gateways take a second, short commercial or private flight to Anguilla’s Clayton J. Lloyd Airport (AXA).  Anguilla is just an 8-minute flight from St. Maarten (SXM) and a 50-minute flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU).  We recommend Anguilla Air’s convenient “Air Bridge” service which lets you bypass customs in St. Maarten/Martin and gets you on the beach faster. It’s also an ideal way to take a side-trip to St. Barth’s for a day.

By Sea

You can get to Anguilla by sea from our neighbor island St. Maarten/Martin via scheduled public ferry from the island’s French side (St. Martin) or by private or semi-private charter ferry or boat from the Dutch side (St. Maarten). The trip takes about 25 minutes. We can offer advice on the best option based on what time of day you arrive and how many people are in your party.
